Where is the happiness?
Mom replied: "It's on your tail."
So the young lion keeps on chasing after his tail. But after a whole day of trying, he failed to get the happiness that was on his tail.
Then he told his mom about this, his mom smiled and said: "Son, you don't really need to chase after your happiness, as long as you keep going and moving forward, your happiness will always be with you."
Wish everyone of you find your happiness.
You can't decide the length of life, but you can control how you want to live it.
You can't control the weather, but you can control your mood.
You can't change your look, but you can smile.
You can't control others, but you can control yourself.
You can't foresee tomorrow, but you can utilize today wisely.
You can't win everything, but you can try your very best to achieve that.
Hope everyone can face the daily life positively and always be happy...

Making things right
I checked and discovered that the word Ho'oponopono means to make right or to rectify an error. The video creates an awareness that you too can make mistakes and would wish for forgiveness and be loved again. So, do the same when others hurt you. The following video explains how practicing it can help you.
Forgive and love again.

Used vs Loved
From MyInBox:
Used vs Loved
“While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions......sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'”.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .
Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved, But the problem in today's world is that, People are used and things are loved...
Let's be careful to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ...Be yourself....Be mindful!
“Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits they become character; Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. “

The story about the World and You
crack in the wall to see the
farmer and his wife open a
package.
What food might this contain?' the mouse wondered - - -
he was devastated to discover
it was a mousetrap.
Retreating to the farmyard,
the mouse proclaimed the warning :
There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!'
The chicken clucked and scratched,
raised her head and said,
'Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave
concern to you, but it is of no consequence
to me. I cannot be bothered by it.'
The mouse turned to the pig and told him,
'There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!'
The pig sympathized, but said,
'I am so very sorry, Mr.Mouse,
but there is nothing I can do about it
but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers.'
The mouse turned to the cow and said,
'There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!'
The cow said, 'Wow, Mr. Mouse.
I'm sorry for you,
but it's no skin off my nose.'
So, the mouse returned to the house,
head down and dejected,
to face the farmer's mousetrap . . . alone.
That very night a sound was heard
throughout the house -- like the sound
of a mousetrap catching its prey.
The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught.
In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous
snake whose tail the trap had caught.
The snake bit the farmer's wife.
The farmer rushed her to the hospital,
and she returned home with a fever.
Everyone knows you treat a fever
with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer
took his hatchet to the farmyard
for the soup's main ingredient.
But his wife's sickness continued,
so friends and neighbors came to sit
with her around the clock.
To feed them,
the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she died. So many people came for her funeral,
the farmer had the cow slaughtered to
provide enough meat for all of them.
The mouse looked upon it all from his
crack in the wall with great sadness.
So, the next time you hear someone is
facing a problem and think it doesn't
concern you, remember ----
when one of us is threatened,
we are all at risk.
We are all involved in this
journey called life.
We must keep an eye out for
one another and make an extra effort
to encourage one another.
REMEMBER. . . . . .
EACH OF US IS A VITAL THREAD IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY;
OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER
FOR A REASON.
One of the best things to hold onto
in this world is a FRIEND.

Spiritual Healing Around The World
I recall when I was younger, my father being a Taoist, gave me a talisman to ward bad dreams. They stopped when I started wearing it. So, could it be that it worked because I believe in what my father said it would do for me?
Then I played with it and acted out the rituals I saw my father did with the talisman over incense but I did it over smoke from a mosquito coil. The bad dreams recurred after that.
How do you explain this?
Here is a quote that I picked up today in a Valentine message on what love is about.
"Enjoy the similarities and respect the differences."
For world peace, maybe this is what we should practice instead of condemning what we do not understand.
What is love?
Tuesday, February 10, 2009
When love can maim and kill.
You don't love enough when you don't do it right.
Saturday, February 7, 2009
Yes, we can!
"Love can change consciousness
Change in consciousness
can create change in thought
Change in thought
can create change
in society and the environment"
What changes would you like to see in your life?
